One of the best comfort Korean food in ktown, came with a night of drinking out. Was blessed by their comfort Korean soup! Their kimchi dumplings are amazing and a must order. Also their soup is very good with great taste!

Went there when I had to visit the Chinese next door to get a visa to travel, and let me just say, the week after when I went back to pick up my visa, I went back to this place. We got the spicy galbitang which was BOMB! Service was amazing, the waitress that was there on both days was very friendly and food comes out fast. Their kimchi is fire!! Sadly i live too far but will go back when i get a chance

Local spot in a small strip mall with a parking lot that doesn't charge for valet (yippee). Staff were super welcoming and thoughtful, changing spice levels for some of our party and recommending sauces to go with our orders. They know the menu extremely well. This is also one of my favorite spots for banchan in Ktown. They don't give you a huge variety, but they give you good options. The kimchi is fermented but still crisp, in contrast to many places that give you fresh kimchi. #2 Sullungtang w beef brisket - non spicy version. This does not come seasoned, and you can season yourself with the table salt. Nice filling bone broth if you're looking for a healing soup. #2 Spicy sullungtang w beef brisket - this comes seasoned. It's a delicious, hot soup in a stone pot with noodles and beef brisket. Super comforting and filling. Has a little kick to it, but I really enjoyed. Really solid sullungtang options here, and the staff are super helpful and sweet. This is a solid 5/5 stars for me. I would definitely return to try more of their menu, especially the haejangguk (hangover soup).

The service was really great! Food was delicious and the staff were very sweet. They walked us through each of the types and explained how it's eaten for a full savory experience. Parking is fairly small but we were lucky to find parking in their lot whilst having a large van.

I LOVE THIS PLACE! Aside from the food being amazing, the staff there is very nice and very patient. They have a Korean waiter who at this point anytime I go in, she already knows my co-workers order as well as mine. The bussing staff is also very nice. They help us whenever we need it. Now the food... omg. So good! I get the number 2 Ox Bone Soup Beef Brisket Only and I get it spicy! The broth is so rich and flavorful, the perfect spice level! They also provide sides. My favorite is the cabbage with the red paste (idk the name of it) as well as the ginger with the jalapeño omg both, chefs kiss. The best. Overall it's amazing! Recently brought my husband and he loved it too! There is parking but they do share with other businesses so not always available, and not the biggest but I've always came during my lunch and have had no issues being seated right away. Also very affordable. Usually pay less than $40 for 2 meals

Super delicious traditional Korean food (mostly soups)! Absolutely AMAZING service with a smile! The prices are very reasonable especially when comparing to THAT other legendary place on Western! But this place has a spicy version of 설렁탕!

Came by Shin Chon Seolnongtang a few days ago with a friend. I was blown away by the kind and welcoming people working here, and I really appreciated the free tea and the thorough explanations we were offered as we placed our orders. The vibe was very home-y, which was emulated by the inviting staff members. I had the dolsot bibimbap, and it was good, but somewhat lacking in flavor. That said, I also acknowledge that I got a bibimbap at a place known and named for their seollungtang, and I intend to come back to try their signature dish in the coming months with some friends! The banchan were quite good as well! Overall I had a very good experience, and I intend to update this review once I've tried more dishes on their menu!

Discovered this gem on Doordash and ordered as takeout. I'm so glad I found this place and surprised it isn't more well known! I really enjoyed the ox bone sullungtang as it was milky and rich with umami flavor. I didn't even need to add salt! I also really enjoyed the radish in soy sauce and thought it paired really well with the brisket. I wasn't a fan of their kimchi, however, but the radish kimchi was decent. I think the broth is the star part of the meal and hope to dine in at this restaurant one day!

Location: small store in the same plaza as s Yeems Coffee and Yukdaejang. Fair warning there's limited parking if the lot is full and the spots are narrow. Food: got the dolsot bibimbap. I would highly recommend you get the seollungtang instead, not that the bibimbap was bad, but you're going to a seollungtang spot and they do it better than their bibimbap. Bibimbap also does not contain any meat. I overheard the staff recommending the dogani soup which is the ox knee.
